Since 1986, Bristol Bay Native Corporation has provided support for and encouraged its shareholders to pursue educational opportunities and to promote and preserve cultural heritage. Applicants who meet the eligibility requirement and display a financial need are granted funding.
Each year, Bristol Bay Foundation supports more than 250 students to pursue their educational and vocational training goals. Graduates are now in a wide range of careers that serve the Bristol Bay region. In addition, the Foundation provides grant funds to Bristol Bay communities to preserve traditional cultural practices through activities like cultural camps and school-based programs.
In 2022, Bristol Bay Foundation celebrated 30 years of supporting students in their educational goals. Bristol Bay Foundation awarded 213 individual student scholarships in that time. This financial support is a game changer for many.
